A 20 year old Tasmanian single malt from Rare Hare, made in collaboration with Hellyers Road Distillery and bottled at 42% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It spent 17 years in ex-bourbon American oak and a further three years finished in port casks. The whisky is unpeated, with a focus on fruit and spice.
The nose offers biscotti, vanilla nougat, elderflower and citrus marmalade. The palate brings strawberry muffin, ginger scone, black liquorice and stewed apricot. The finish carries lingering oak, soft spice, orange marmalade and subtle toffee.
