Redbreast – 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of bourbon-seasoned American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts, which give it the sherry style associated with Redbreast. The nose is spicy and fruity with toasted wood. The palate is full flavoured and silky, balancing spice, fruit, sherry and toasted notes, and the finish follows the same character.
