Redbreast 21 Years Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Cork, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled in copper pot stills, which gives spice while making the spirit seem gentler.
The whiskey spent 21 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks and first-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is fresh tropical fruit, nuts and rich dried fruit. The palate brings vanilla, toasted oak and nutty sherry, with lush, fleshy fruit and a very creamy texture. The finish is long, with oak, spice and malt.
