Redwood Empire Emerald Giant is a straight rye made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and aged for a minimum of three years. It is bottled at 90 proof (45%) in a 750ml bottle. It is described as the accessible version of the Redwood Empire signature rye, balancing peppery spice with a soft, honeyed core, and suits sipping neat or mixing in classic cocktails. The nose is bright and floral, with fresh mint, white pepper, honey and orange peel. The palate has rye spice tempered by vanilla cream, toasted oak and a touch of maple. The finish is clean and medium in length, with gentle peppery warmth.
