Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso IGT - Berto&Fiorella

A red wine with an intense ruby colour tending to violet in its reflections. On the nose it offers ripe black fruit, cherry and plum, with earthy notes and a light hint of fresh spices. On the palate it shows structure and present but well-integrated tannins, with black fruit flavours and a fresh acidic vein supporting the balance. The persistence is moderate. It suits everyday dishes such as simple red meats, roasts, medium-aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes, and can also work with savoury but not overly complex preparations. Serve at a not too high temperature to appreciate its freshness and tannins.
