Rémy Martin XO Fine Champagne Cognac (40%)

Rémy Martin XO is a Fine Champagne cognac at 40% ABV, offered here as an older bottling. Fine Champagne means at least half of the blend comes from Grande Champagne, the rest from Petite Champagne. It is made from more than 400 eaux-de-vie from those two crus, each aged in French Limousin oak, some for over three decades, then blended together. The nose is rich with candied fruit, jasmine, warm spice, ripe figs and honeyed oak. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, with baked apricot, hazelnut and dark chocolate. The finish is long, fading into soft oak, sweet vanilla and dried fruit.
