Reservoir Virginia Wheat Whiskey 2024 (70cl, 50%)

Reservoir Virginia Wheat Whiskey comes from the Reservoir Distillery, which has been distilling since 2008. It is made entirely from Virginia wheat and bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour. Fermentation is open and distillation is in a pot still. The whiskey then matures for at least two years in small quarter casks with a heavy alligator char, a deep charring of the wood. The nose has port, caramel and oak. The palate is velvety, with honey, a floral touch and citrus and orange, and the finish is spicy with herbs.
