A 2020 rhum agricole from Depaz, made in Martinique from fresh sugar cane juice. It is aged in oak barrels. The aroma moves from fresh, herbaceous cane notes to sweet, spicy hints of vanilla, toasted wood and a delicate touch of dried fruit. On the palate it is harmonious, with softness and structure, and a warm, enveloping finish. It can be enjoyed neat or used in cocktails.
