Rhum Agricole XO Cuvée Prestige - Depaz (70cl)

An agricole rum from Depaz, made exclusively from fresh sugar cane juice and aged in oak casks. It comes from the volcanic terroir of Saint-Pierre, Martinique. Long ageing gives a rich, enveloping aromatic complexity, with mature notes of vanilla, sweet spice, dried fruit and a delicate smoky touch. The intense amber colour leads to a broad, balanced palate, with softness and pleasant tannic structure, and a long, persistent finish. It is best enjoyed neat at room temperature, or in high-end cocktails and refined food pairings such as dark chocolate desserts or spiced dishes.
