Ridge Reserve Black Label is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle. It was produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown.
The bourbon is made from corn, rye and malted barley and aged for five to six years in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose brings roasted cashews, honeyed granola, pear brandy and light citrus. On the palate it is soft, dry and medium-bodied, with orchard fruit and vanilla, then warming cinnamon and a hint of walnut. The finish is warming and of moderate length, with caramel, toffee and cinnamon.
