Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore DOC - Cecilia Beretta

A red wine from Valpolicella, made mainly from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes and produced by the ripasso method, with a second fermentation on Amarone pomace. This intensifies colour, aroma and body. It shows a deep ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and cherry in spirit. On the palate it has soft, enveloping tannins and a persistent finish with slightly spicy and liquorice notes. It pairs with red meats, braised dishes and aged cheeses.
