Rittenhouse Rye 100 Proof (70cl, 50%)

Rittenhouse Rye 100 Proof is a bottled in bond rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It is made in the tradition of the classic Pennsylvania, or Monongahela, rye whiskeys. The 100 proof strength, or 50% ABV, is chosen for a big and bold character. It took top American whiskey at the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a gold medal from the same event in 2014. On the palate it is clean and rich, with hints of nutmeg and spice.
