Rock Island 10 Year Old is a Douglas Laing bottling of island malts from Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney, each matured for a decade. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It carries the sea breeze character of the original Rock Island, with gentle, balanced influence from the casks.
The nose has lemon curd, honey ice cream and digestive biscuits, with smoky sea air. The palate is oily malt, honeycomb and rock salt, with peppery oak and orange sweets. The finish is creamy vanilla, bonfire smoke and sea spray.
