An Arkansas straight bourbon from Rock Town Distillery, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2020 for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask B3.10. It was aged for five years in a single charred new American oak barrel and bottled at 59.5% ABV, one of 193 bottles in a 70cl size. The mashbill is 82% Arkansas corn, 9% Arkansas wheat and 9% malted barley.
The nose brings cola cubes and smouldering coals in a sweat lodge hung with eucalyptus, then sandalwood and nutmeg. The palate has amarena cherry, red cola and molasses, with polished oak, liquorice, black tea, cinnamon and clove.
