Roe & Co Irish Whiskey (45%)

Roe & Co Irish Whiskey is a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, each at least five years old, bottled at 45% ABV. The brand was revived in 2017 and draws on the name of George Roe, a nineteenth-century distiller. The whiskey is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, which give it a profile led by vanilla and a creamy texture. The nose offers soft spice, sugar and woody vanilla. On the palate there are spiced pears and vanilla, velvety and sweet, leading to a lingering but gentle finish.
