Rose Valley 4 Year Old is a German single malt from the Feinbrandmanufaktur Eric Brabant in Striegistal, Saxony. This is Batch No. 1 of the Malts of Germany bottlings, matured in Cognac and ex-Bourbon casks and limited to 388 bottles. It is bottled at 49.2% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings red berries and ripe banana with herbs and mint, and a touch of oak. On the palate are dark chocolate, tannin and sweet malt, full-bodied and balanced. The finish is warming, with herbs, spices and light vanilla.
