Origami Kite II is a 12-year-old Roseisle single malt from the Diageo Special Releases 2024, and the distillery's second public single malt bottling. It matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and refill casks and is bottled at 55.6% in a 20cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
Creamy vanilla and spice sit alongside ripe banana, yellow peach, pineapple and nectarine.
The nose opens mild and slightly winey, like unripe redcurrants, then turns sweeter and creamier with vanilla fudge. The palate is soft and very creamy, with vanilla icing, honey, banana and white chocolate. The finish is long and sweet, with light spice, peppery warmth and a little fresh oak.
