This is Roseisle 12 Year Old, part of the 2024 Diageo Special Releases, bottled at a cask strength of 55.6%. It is the second bottling from the Roseisle distillery in the series.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon and refill casks.
The nose is winey, with redcurrant and tart fruits, subtle vanilla and light spice. The palate is medium-bodied and creamy, with pear and apple, toffee sweetness, vanilla pod and spicy oak. The finish is long, with dark chocolate bitterness and a light, lingering pepper note.
