The Origami Kite was the first Roseisle single malt to be released to the public, in 2023. This 12 year old Speyside whisky belongs to the Diageo Special Releases 2023 and comes in a 20cl bottle.
It matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and refill casks and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.5%, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The nose is soft vanilla with a touch of molasses and cereal, along with vanilla sponge and buttercream. The palate is soft and creamy, with sweet vanilla icing, deep fruit and a warm spice. The finish is long, rich and sweet, ending lightly spicy with a hint of white pepper.
