A red wine from the Marche region, made from Montepulciano grapes grown on the slopes of Monte Conero near the Adriatic coast. It has an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red colour. The nose shows ripe red fruits such as blackberry and raspberry, with sweet spices, vanilla and a light tobacco note from wood ageing. On the palate it is robust yet balanced, with well-integrated tannins and freshness, finishing persistent. It suits grilled red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
