Baccaloro is a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC from Libenzi, grown in the Marche hills. Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections, it offers white flowers, green apple, peach and almond notes. On the palate it is elegant and full, with lively acidity, fresh fruit flavours and light minerality, finishing long and pleasantly almond-like. It suits an aperitif, fish, seafood and fresh cheeses, and is best served cool at about 8-10°C.
