A medium-intensity ruby red wine from Leone Conti, made with certified organic farming practices.
The nose opens with ripe red fruit and small berries, with light earthy notes and a hint of spice. On the palate it shows medium body, soft tannins and freshness, with a pleasant, balanced and unobtrusive finish.
It suits everyday dishes such as flavourful first courses, white or red meats that are not too structured, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 C; a brief decanting can help the aromas open.
