Royal Brackla 24 Years Old is a Highland single malt matured for 24 years in oak and bourbon casks, then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 50.4% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery stands on the Cawdor Estate. It was founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser and in 1833 became the first distillery to receive a royal warrant, from King William IV.
The whisky is described as rich, sweet and fruity, with dried fruit, roasted coffee and a light, spicy tartness.
