Royal Lochnagar – 10 Year Old The Manager's Dram (70cl, 57.2%)

This is a 10 year old Royal Lochnagar from The Manager's Dram series, a selection chosen by distillery managers and originally bottled for Diageo employees. It was bottled in January 2006 at cask strength, 57.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The nose combines orchard fruits, dried apricot, cinnamon and mint with subtle oak. The palate has honeyed malt, creamy vanilla, dark chocolate and nutmeg. The finish is of medium spice, with toasted oak, ginger caramel and eucalyptus.
