Royal Salute 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, aged for a minimum of 21 years. Royal Salute was created in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and takes its name from the 21-gun salute fired at the Tower of London for royal celebrations.
The nose is rich and fruity, with sweet pears and citrus fruit alongside the fragrance of autumn flowers. Sweet vanilla and dry oak follow, with subtle notes of sherry and smoke.
