This is a 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, made in collaboration with the fashion designer Harris Reed as part of the Royal Salute Fashion Collection. It comes in a pink decanter inspired by the feathered crowns Reed is known for.
The blend was put together during a co-blending session at Strathisla Distillery. It includes Braeval matured in sherry casks and Glenburgie matured in American oak, which give it a sweet, spicy character.
The nose is typically described as red apple, raspberry jam and crème brûlée with hazelnut praline. On the palate come pear crumble, vanilla fudge and toasted almonds, with a rich, spicy finish.
