Rozelieures Peated Collection is a French single malt from the family-owned Grallet Dupic distillery in Lorraine, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle.
It is made from the farm's own organic barley, lightly peated with French peat and double-distilled in Charentais stills. The spirit matures in ex-bourbon casks and is then finished in new French oak from Lorraine.
Smoke and peat open the nose with hints of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, balanced by a light floral, spicy note. The palate is smooth and silky, with prominent peat, honey, toasted wood and vanilla. The finish is long, with peat, wood and spice.
