Russell's Reserve 13 Year Old Barrel Proof Batch 1 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, in a 750ml bottle. It was matured for 13 years in the distillery's warehouses and bottled at natural barrel proof.
The Russell's Reserve name honours Jimmy and Eddie Russell, and this bottling draws on the distillery's oldest available stock. Batch 1 is the founding release of the 13-year programme, and the later batches followed from it.
