Russell's Reserve 13 Year Old Bourbon Eddie's 45th Anniversary (75cl, 60.6%)

This is a 13-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey Distilling Co. in Lawrenceburg, a Spring 2026 release with a commemorative label for Master Distiller Eddie Russell's 45th anniversary. It is bottled uncut at barrel proof, 60.6% ABV (121.2 proof), in a 750ml bottle. Eddie Russell started at Wild Turkey in 1981 with a summer job. He created Russell's Reserve to honour his father, Jimmy Russell, and this batch was hand-selected to show the character of the barrel. The nose moves from vanilla and oak into brown sugar and coffee, with a distinct orange peel note. The palate is bright cherry and citrus, then nutmeg and allspice, with a sweet cola note. The finish is medium to long, with caramel, toffee and hints of oak tannin.
