A Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2015 at 51.1% ABV (102.2 proof). It was drawn from 23 barrels and filled into 2,070 bottles, each of 75cl.
The whiskey is roughly fifteen to seventeen years old and carries no exact age statement. It comes from the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The nose is mature oak, dark caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, leather, tobacco, toasted nuts and baking spice. The palate is rich and concentrated, with caramel, vanilla, seasoned oak, cinnamon, dark fruit and toasted pecan. The finish is long and warming, led by oak with caramel, spice and vanilla.
