Russell's Reserve Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon made by Jimmy and Eddie Russell at the Wild Turkey Distillery. Each bottle comes from an individual hand-selected barrel, so the flavour varies slightly from one barrel to the next. It is bottled at 110 proof (55%) and is non-chill filtered, in a 750ml bottle.
The nose offers deep caramel, vanilla bean, dark cherry, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate brings rich toffee, honeyed sweetness, rye spice, roasted nuts and charred oak. The finish is long and warm, with caramel and peppery oak.
