This is a Japanese blended whisky made from 50% malt and 50% grain. It is aged first in sherry and bourbon casks, then finished in Mizunara oak casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
Sadashi is a Japanese word for ambition and the wish to achieve something. The Mizunara finish is there to bring out the whisky's spicy side.
The nose is woody, with hints of vanilla and flowers. The palate brings fresh oak, honey, malt, citrus, coffee beans and spicy sandalwood. The finish is short, dry and warm.
