Sagamore Spirit High Rye Bourbon is a 6 year old straight bourbon, distilled and aged in Baltimore, Maryland, in new charred American oak. It is bottled at 54% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mash bill is 60% corn, 25% rye and 15% malted rye, which gives the bourbon its high-rye character.
It is described as sweet corn up front, with cracked pepper, cinnamon and clove through the middle. The finish is long and warm, with vanilla, toasted oak and brown sugar.
