Sagamore Spirit – Rye Double Oak

Sagamore Spirit Rye Double Oak is a straight rye whiskey aged for four years, then moved into a second oak barrel. The freshly toasted staves of that barrel start the maturation again, bringing caramel and dark vanilla flavours and a colour of amber and warm chestnut. The nose is baking spices, dried orange peel and warm cinnamon. The palate is smooth caramel and toasted coconut, with hazelnut and pecan alongside vanilla.
