A Maryland straight rye whiskey from Sagamore Spirit, bottled at 41.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It blends two different mash bills, one high in rye and one lower, and is proofed with limestone-filtered spring water.
The whiskey is matured for a minimum of two years in new charred American oak barrels before blending.
The nose brings cinnamon, vanilla bean and honeycomb, with hay and a floral, herbal edge. The palate starts with caramel and wildflower honey, then builds to peppercorn, dill and dry oak. The finish is medium in length, with rye spice, cinnamon and a dry oak note.
