GLØD 3.1 is an organic Danish single malt from Sall Whisky, bottled at 51.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release of GLØD, completing the range alongside MULD and TØRV. Only 534 bottles were filled from this batch.
It matured in quarter casks: one ex-bourbon and two ex-oloroso sherry. The sherry casks give GLØD its deep colour. The barley was sown and harvested on the Kvolbæk and Stadsgaard fields in 2020, and each bottling can be traced back to its field. It was double distilled in copper pot stills.
The palate is full and sweet, with vanilla, raisins and roasted nuts.
