A Bas Armagnac from Samalens, distilled from the 1983 vintage and aged for 20 years in oak casks. It is presented in a wooden box. The spirit has a deep amber colour with golden reflections. The nose offers dried plum, vanilla, cocoa, leather and sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove. On the palate it is generous and enveloping, with mature fruit, toasted wood and sweet tobacco, ending in a long, pleasantly spicy finish.
