A red wine from Romagna, made from Sangiovese. It is deep ruby red with garnet reflections over time. The nose shows ripe red fruits, plum compote, cherries in spirit, sweet spice, leather and a light tobacco note from oak barrique ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with elegant, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity and alcohol, and a persistent finish with spice and red fruit. It pairs with robust Romagnolo dishes, wild boar ragù tagliatelle and aged cheeses.
