Calonga Sangiovese Romagna Superiore DOC "Leggiolo" expresses the character of Romagna's signature grape. In the glass it is ruby red tending to garnet, sometimes with violet reflections.
The aroma is vinous and delicate, with floral notes recalling violet. The palate is full and structured, yet soft and elegant, with pleasant tannins in youth. It suits red meats, game, Romagnola first courses and aged cheeses.
