Scallywag Berlin Edition Speyside Blended Malt (48%)

Scallywag Berlin Edition is a limited Speyside blended malt from Douglas Laing, part of its Remarkable Regional Malts range. It is bottled at 48%, without chill-filtration and without added colour. The blend has a high share of single malts matured in sherry casks, and the whisky is a deep mahogany in the glass. The box is purple-blue, a nod to the evening sky over Berlin, and shows the Brandenburg Gate and the TV Tower alongside Scallywag in his bucket hat. Nose and palate bring warm spice, ripe summer fruit, vanilla, a touch of dark chocolate, and fine notes of figs and barley.
