Scallywag Speyside Blended Malt (46%)

Scallywag is a Douglas Laing blended malt, made from single malts from several Speyside distilleries and bottled at 46%. It was matured in a combination of American and European oak casks, and is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured. The name comes from the Laing family's fox terrier. In the glass it is a warm gold. The nose offers sweet fruit, fine spice and oak. The palate is full and round, with fruit and oak working together. The finish is long and soft, with a hint of oak.
