A blended malt from Douglas Laing, Scallywag in The Green Welly Stop edition, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet, with gingerbread and orange peel, and beneath them hazelnut, caramelised apple, blackcurrant and ripe green fruit.
The palate begins with dried fruit and winter spices, with a sweet profile, herbal touches and a slight mineral, baked-earth note. The finish is warm and medium to long, with lingering sweet spice and red berries.
