Secret Speyside 18 Year Old 2005 Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection Foundations (70cl, 57.6%)

This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt, selected by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection and bottled at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 11 July 2005 and matured in a first-fill sherry butt until it was bottled on 26 June 2024. The cask yielded 575 bottles. The distillery behind the Secret Speyside name was founded in 1824 near the village of Craigellachie, and released its first 18 year old in 1984. The sherry cask gives this bottling two distinct sides, one on the nose and another on the palate.
