This is a Tamnavulin single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at 11 years old for Signatory Vintage's Small Batch Edition #13. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 48.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The whisky matured in first fill hogsheads that previously held Bolgheri, an Italian wine.
The nose offers ripe berries, soft vanilla and honeyed sweetness, with a touch of spicy oak. The palate is smooth and mild, with red fruit, gentle spice and oak from the Bolgheri cask. The finish is long and balanced, with subtle herbal and spicy notes.
