Seven Seals Malted Barley Spirit Port Wood Finish Cask Strength (50cl, 58.7%)

This is a Swiss malted barley spirit from Seven Seals, distilled from malted barley at Langatun and bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% in a 50cl bottle. After an initial period in oak it receives a port wood finish. Seven Seals uses a method that speeds up the development of wood flavours. The spirit is a deep amber, is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers fine peat smoke, honey, ripe plum, hazelnut and cinnamon. The palate is full and strong, with smoke, dates, honey and gingerbread spice. The finish is long and dry, with concentrated dried fruit.
