Seven Seals Malted Barley Spirit Sherry Wood Finish Cask Strength (50cl, 58.7%)

This is a Swiss single malt made from a malted barley distillate from Langatun, bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% in a 50cl bottle. It was first matured in oak, then finished in sherry casks. Seven Seals uses its own accelerated maturation method. The bottling is chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers creamy caramel and roasted almonds, with cloves, cinnamon and a sweet note of wine gums. The palate is balanced, with toffee, gingerbread and candied walnuts. The medium-length finish recalls biscuit dough.
