Sheep Dip is a blended malt bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from 16 single malts from the Highlands and Speyside, aged between 8 and 21 years, and blended by Richard Paterson. The malts are then married for a year in a first-fill American oak cask. The name comes from a nickname farmers gave their whisky, which was hidden in barrels marked with the name of a powerful insecticide to fool the customs men.
