This is a 10 year old single grain whisky from Shibui, made at Shinzato Distillery in Okinawa, Japan. The grain is 100% long grain indica rice, fermented with indigenous Okinawan black koji and yeast, then distilled in a single stainless-steel pot still.
It matures in ex-bourbon American oak and is bottled at 40%. The age is a minimum of 10 years.
It is described as crème brûlée with cracked black pepper and spiced oak.
