This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Shortbarrel, bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
It is a blend of Kentucky straight bourbons, four to five years old, that was aged further in Atlanta, Georgia. The mash uses four grains: corn, rye, wheat and malted barley.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and honeyed grain, then baking spice, toasted oak and a little malt. The palate has corn sweetness and creamy wheat, with rye spice, soft chocolate, brown sugar and citrus peel. The finish is smooth and lingering, with caramelised oak, vanilla bean and pepper.
