Signatory Vintage Benrinnes 11 Year Old 2015 Monuments of Scotland

This Benrinnes 11 Year Old is part of The Monuments of Scotland series, a collaboration between Signatory Vintage and the German distributor Kirsch Import. The label shows Tomnaverie Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire, a prehistoric site around 4,000 years old. It is a small-batch bottling that combines four casks and was finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. The nose has almond shavings, cashews, apples, blueberries and peaches, with caramel. On the palate come cashews, blueberries and apples. The finish offers nougatine, caramel and chestnuts.
